The goal of this workshop is to engage teachers and classrooms in local scientific investigations, such as testing air, water and soil, and sharing the data with local parks, politicians and people who care about climate change. In this workshop, you will be given information on how to engage your classroom in inquiry-based activism. You will receive slides, units, and materials to help you integrate scientific investigations into your classroom. You will also be provided with plant and animal inventories of our schools and other local areas as well as information about food foraging, medicinal plant knowledge, and survival skills. Let’s work together to make a difference in our local environments!
